Week 11 Status Update

This week has been a pretty good week. I have noticed a change in my attitude towards food. Several times when I have been thinking about what to eat for a particular meal I haven’t thought about what would be good or satisfying. Instead I just tried to figure out what would fit with the points I had left or set aside for that meal. Maybe I am beginning to think of food as a fuel instead of something that brings pleasure and comfort.

My mini goal of 35 pounds is getting closer. The reward for that milestone is still a trip to Double Dave’s Pizza. As I stepped on the scales this week I was hoping to have lost 2 pounds or more. The scales granted my wish as I lost 2 more pounds this week. That brings my 11 week total to 31 lbs.

Next weeks update will be late as I will be out of town on Wednesday. I will be on a company trip with my co-workers. I plan on not counting points while I am away. However, I intend to make some good choices too.

If you are dieting with me I wish you success. It can be done and yes, it is worth it.
